Speaker Bio:
Dr. Andrea Asseff, DMD, is a National Injectables Trainer with more than a decade of experience and advanced education in facial aesthetics. She provides both cosmetic and therapeutic treatments using neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and other advanced injectable techniques, with a strong emphasis on safety, facial balance, and natural-looking results. Her unique background allows her to seamlessly integrate facial aesthetics with comprehensive dental care.
Dr. Asseff is highly skilled in all phases of cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry, including implant placement and restoration, teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, crowns, and bridges. She is deeply committed to continuing education and regularly pursues advanced training to remain current with evolving technologies, techniques, and evidence-based aesthetic treatments. This dedication allows her to provide comprehensive, modern care addressing both functional and aesthetic concerns.
Dr. Asseff’s path to dentistry began with her passion for healthcare and helping others. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in 2000, developing a strong foundation in patient care, anatomy, and clinical decision-making. She later pursued dentistry, completing additional coursework at Nova Southeastern University before attending Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2005. She joined her father in practice shortly thereafter, continuing a family legacy of patient-centered care.
Today, Dr. Asseff combines her backgrounds in nursing, dentistry, and facial aesthetics to bring a comprehensive perspective to patient care and professional education. As a National Injectables Trainer, she shares her clinical experience with other healthcare professionals seeking to safely and effectively incorporate facial aesthetic treatments into their practices.
Dr. Asseff is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, South Florida Dental Association, American Implant Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and International Academy of Facial Aesthetics (IAFA), as well as local and women’s dental study groups.
A native Floridian, Dr. Asseff resides in Hollywood, Florida, with her husband, Alfonso Llanes III, and their two daughters, Anabella and Alessandra. Her combination of clinical experience, advanced injectable training, and commitment to education has made her a valued educator and mentor within the facial aesthetics community.
